Some beverage staining to the rear endpaper and some quite light green crayon marking to the front pastedown and to the copyright and dedication leaves. Backstrip ends bruised, and with some toning to the lesser-quality paperstock. A good copy in very good A.E.Barbosa-designed dust wrapper, with two small areas of rubbing to the head of the spine panel. This would appear to be the export example of the wrapper, with no price printed to the base of the front flap. The various flaws notwithstanding, a solid example of the eleventh volume in the author's acclaimed series of Aubrey / Maturin novels, and curiously one of the most uncommon.. Book.
