This issue contains the following, all of which are brief articles: "Lincoln's Memorandum on His Savings" by Harry E. Pratt [about Lincoln's real estate holdings], "Herndon's Preface to His Life of Lincoln," "Lincoln's View on Racial and Religious Prejudice" [about a series of resolutions Lincoln wrote in which he denounced the 1844 Philadelphia riots], "Reviews of Lincoln Books," and "Lincoln's Resolutions of Sympathy on Hearing of the Death of Colonel John J.
