With a colour frontispiece tipped to silver paper, ten further colour plates tipped to silver leaves, each reproducing designs by the author, and scores of monochrome plates and illustrations in the text reproducing designs by Oliver Messel, Laurence Irving, Vincent Korda, Edward Carrick, Ernst Stern, Doris Zinkeisen, Lovat Fraser and others. Board edges just a little grubby, with a tiny hint of browning and spotting to the endpapers and several preliminary leaves. A very good copy in nicked, chipped, faded and edgeworn non-price-clipped dust wrapper. A study of stage design from Greek drama to 1930s cinema, written by the architect, artist, stage designer and noted English eccentric Myerscough-Walker.. Book. Book Condition: Very Good.
