RULES REGULATIONS OF THE FINSBURY PARK SYNAGOGUE

No Place (London), No Publisher (The Synago, 1905-1920?

No Date [ca. 1905-1920?]. Presume 1st edition thus. Original printed paper wrappers, 8vo, 8 pages. Printed on heavy glossy paper. Date guess based on typeface and design. The synagogue was famously ransacked in April 2002, when vandals painted a swastika on a lectern, smashed windows and defiled holy books in the second attack on the synagogue in 6 months. Founded in 1884, the Finsbury Park Synagogue is an Orthodox Ashkenazi congregation located in Finsbury Park, area in North London (not to be confused with the district of Finsbury, several miles to the south, close to the center of London). The synagogue is located in the London Borough of Hackney. Previously the locality of the synagogue (as well as Princess Crescent, the previous address) was in the former Metropolitan Borough of Stoke Newington (established 1900) in the County of London (established 1889), both of which entities were abolished in 1965. We could locate no copies of any edition anywhere: not on OCLC, not on KVK, not in the British Library, not using a google search. Perhaps a unique surviving copy. Light edgewear, a bit of ripplings to top margins, all paper and binding good and strong, no stains. Good+ Condition (BR-12-18)
