The boards are marked, dicoloured, shelf rubbed and edge worn. The cloth is frayed and worn along the edges. Despite this, the boards remain strong and square. Internally, there is a red stain on the title page, and the rest of the pages are foxed and tanned throughout. The back pastedown has a closed tear in it. There are no other markings or inscriptions and the pages within are neat, legible and complete. The binding remains sound, and the book remarkably well preserved for its age. JK.
