Endpapers browned and outer edges foxed otherwise a remarkably clean and fresh copy in a slightly worn and very lightly soiled price-clipped wrapper that is slightly nicked at head and tail of spine and split at head of joint between front cover and front flap of wrapper. VERY SCARCE IN THIS CONDITION. Interestingly this came out two years before the Disney Bambi film but I believe the animators were influenced by Pinner's depiction of the deer on the front cover of the wrapper.
