A very good crisp clean full-margined copy in contemprary dark brown calf, gilt ornament centre each board, rebacked in matching period style early 20th century, some rubbing to boards, but in general an extremely attractive example of this important work. Savile, eminent Elizabethan mathematician, is best known for the founding of two Chairs in Geometry and Astronomy at Oxford University.
