Inscribed by Author(s)341 pages. This is the first novel by Johannesburg pharmacist, Albert Segal, who has inscribed the title page (dated 8/12/54). This copy has a clear cellophane protective cover. The dustjacket beneath is in good condition with mild wear and rubbing marks. The peach coloured cloth cover is grubby and worn. The corners are shelf depressed, the spine (which is sunned and shelf faded) has shelf pulls. Inside, the initial pages have handling marks.
