First Edition (first printing) of the author's debut novel. An ex-lending library copy with a single inkstamp and several inked numerals to the copyright page, and a small area of surface abrasion to the front pastedown where, presumably, another library marker was once in situ. 8vo. 249pp. Navy blue boards lettered and ruled in gold at the spine. Edges spotted and with a fraction of loss from the lower tip of the first text leaf. Some light bruising to the backstrip ends. Former owner name inked to the head of the front free endpaper. A narrow sliver of tape residue marking to the fore edges of the front and rear pastedowns. A good copy only, housed in a colour photocopy of the dust wrapper. In-all certainly not the best copy, but somewhat enhanced by the presence of a title-specific homemade former owner bookplate to the front free endpaper which has been signed by the author.. Book.
