NOTE A FACSIMILE, this is the 1888 edition, published 16 years after first edition. Typos (points) corrected on page 242. Condition of binding: Worn, corners showing; backstrip torn (several small pieces missing, abrasions, partial crack to rear joint); cracks to front/rear hinges; scattered discoloration to cloth; age darken. Former owners name and date (1889) on first blank. Several preliminaries detached and laid in. Text block: Overall faint age toning, yet free of insect infestation, writing and notations, and tears. Text is clear and very readable. Illustrations are clean and vivid. Overall Fair condition. This is a semibiographical novel by Mark Twain.
