A new revised, corrected and enlarged edition. The first was published in 1841. Original attractive blind-stamped embossed red cloth with gilt lettering on front board and spine. Attractive gilt decoration to the spine showing foxes head, a horn and riding tackle. Joints frayed with some wear and generally bumped but still a nice copy. Frontis and first few pages have a light damp mark to the fore margin. The rest of the book and the Alken plates are very clean. A SCARCE EDITION IN ORIGINAL STATE. Illustr.: Henry Alken.
