They had numerous visits and covered a hard-to-imagine 5100 miles from Binghampton in upstate New York to Niagara Falls through the mid-west, the mountains, Yellowstone and finally to Los Angeles. Collectors and historians of early automobile travel will be delighted that Ward recorded mileage, oil changes, tire changes etc. He is a diligent diarist with notes throughout August 31st to the end of September.
