The Lincoln Kinsman was a monthly publication about Abraham Lincoln and the Lincoln genealogy. Fifty-four issues were published in total. Louis Austin Warren (1885-1983) was a minister who spent his lifetime researching and writing about Abraham Lincoln and his family and was Director of the Lincoln National Life Foundation. About the Berry family and their relation to the Lincoln family. Richard Berry (1742-1798) was married to Rachel Shipley Berry (1745-1804). Lucy Shipley Hanks (1761-1825) was the sister of Rachel and mother of Nancy Hanks Lincoln (1784-1818). Nancy was Abraham Lincoln's mother. Although the genealogy of Nancy Hanks Lincoln is still disputed, it is generally accepted that her father was James Hanks (1760-1785).
