Pages and covers are clean and intact overall. Pages are fragile and age-toned. Some chipping at the edges and spine, with the most prominent spot of chipping on the front cover near the spine. A Very Good Copy. Famous Fantastic Mysteries was a science fiction and fantasy pulp magazine edited by Mary Gnaedinger. The first issue appeared in 1939. Its popularity quickly led to the publication of a companion magazine, Fantastic Novels. The last issue of Famous Fantastic Mysteries was published in 1953. The March 1945 issue.
