Lithographed map, approx 32 x 41 cms, colour-printed, by Malby & Sons under the superintendence of Captain W.J.L. Wharton, separately issued priced 3d. Folded for use, with a couple of small tears at the folds. Together with: card list of the British fleet present; programme; small printed request for tickets. Apparently annotated in the hand of Surgeon Commander Ross C.I.E., who was involved in the organisation of celebrations on the Isle of Wight. Ross viewed the celebrations from H.M.S. Jumma, one of the ships appropriated to officials and visitors. Before the event he pasted clippings from the Naval and Military Gazette and other sources detailing the arrangements to the programme and the verso of the map.
