White family history beginning with John White, b. 1602?, d. 1673, of Somerset, England, who married the daughter of Richard and Maudlin Staple-Cooke West, emigrated to Salem, MA, 1639, and later to Wenham and Lancaster. Please note: this is the original 2-volume set, as noted on the title-pages, and covers the years 1638 - 1900. A third volume was issued in 1905 and included 1638 - 1905, thus updating the history to 1905, and in 1909, a fourth volume was issued and included 1574 - 1909, thus updating the history again, to 1909, and predating the history to 1574.
