Datelined May 4, 1904 in Marysville, California. 8 1/2" x 7." Billhead is very clean and intact overall. Paper has several fold lines. Slight splitting at the edges along the fold lines. Two pinholes not affecting text or the illustration. The handwritten portions include the name of the customer, the item(s) purchased, and the price of the item(s). The customer was "M. Lynch." One item was purchased, a "5 ft Deering Mower." The printed letterhead reads, "White, Cooley & Cutts. Importes & Dealers in General Hardware & Agricultural Goods. Stoves, Tinware & Crockery. Nos. 118, 120, 122 D Street." Proprietors are listed as "John C. White," "Allen Cooley," and "A. D. Cutts." Pink stamp dated May 9, 1904 shows proof of payment.. Ephemera.
