White was born in Nottingham the son of a butcher who attended Cambridge University after he had published this volume in 1803. He received much criticism from the Monthly Review but Robert Southey gave him advise and support and Lord Byron concurred. White sadly died age 21 from consumption. [1785-1806]. 17cms. A Rare Item [Copac 7 copies]. The preliminaries are all present butthe pages are not in the correct order.
