Our original has also seen much service in the last 150 years. Both factors have contributed to the somewhat ungainly appearance of some of the pages in this Almanak. Some anxious student in the past even removed a small part of page 9 and 10 Almanak, and at the time of reproducing we were not able to find a complete copy. / Nevertheless we feel that by reproducing these Almanaks the valuable information contained therein is once again made available to all interested in the early days of the Cape." In general neat, sure condition. The title label on the front cover is foxed. The edges, corners and seams have handling and storage wear. Nonetheless the covers are smart and competent.
