With a title page design and 36 decorations and illustrations, including nine full-page drawings all contributed by the author, plus 30 black and white photographs including a portrait frontispiece. Two related newspaper clippings laid-in. A tiny trace of marking to the cloth in two or three places, and a contemporary (1951) former owner gift inscription inked to the front free endpaper. A very good copy in Chappell-designed colour dust wrapper, price-clipped, and a little toned and lightly spotted, and nicked at the spine ends and corner tips with several tiny fractions of loss. The first book by the noted British dancer and ballet designer.
