Quarter cloth with marbled paper sides, lettered and ruled in gold at the spines. Fore- and bottom edges untrimmed. With endpaper maps by A.E.Taylor, three different title page decorations and thirty-two tailpiece drawings by John Nash. Spine ends and corner tips a little rubbed. A hint of spotting to the free endpapers and to several subsequent blank leaves. Former owner blind stamp to a blank preliminary of each volume. A lovely crisp set of Cobbett's most celebrated work, originally published in two volumes in 1830. No dust wrappers called for, but lacking the slipcase.
