UK,small 8vo s/back,1st edn,5-496pp [paginated] includes a Foreword,Editorial Preface,and containing all the facts and figures for the non-league football enthusiast. Covering all the main leagues in the country all the way down to county league level you will find teams that have long since disbanded or changed name. .
Visually the exterior appearance is exceptional,and particularly internally,the book is also in an exceptional condition/state of preservation and presentation for a book of it's age and nature,i.e. an ephemeral softback reference book. It is only the exterior faults described that prevents a slightly higher grading. Despite them,it really is still an exceptional copy for its cleanliness and brightness.
Following on from the success of the 1980- 81 issue,senior semi-professional football has now re-organised itself into a sensible Nationa 'Pyramid' system giving the vast majority of ambitious clubs throughout the country a chance to progress eventually into 'The Alliance Premier League',if they so wish.
