For its age, this book is in very good condition. The boards are quite shelf rubbed, edge worn and marked, but remain strong and square, with gilt to the front and spine which remains bright and charming. The spine has discoloured with age. Internally, the first and last few pages are very tanned and foxed. There are no markings inscriptions, although the pages are tanned and foxed around the edges throughout.
