Patrick Benson studied at the Chelsea Art School and St Martin's School of Art.He first entered the world of book illustration with William Mayne's 'Hob Stories' in 1984,for which he won the Mother Goose Award.Since then he has continued to illustrate other people's stories,as well as his own.He received world-wide accolades for his interpretation of Roald Dahl's final book,'The Minpins' (see my book ID's rja26467, rja32168, rja393911 and rja416912),and the two J.R.
