John Murray, London, 1816

A very good copy indeed, rebound 20th century in 1/4 dark green morocco, matching green buckram boards, the spine rubbed. The text block is uncut, the title and two successive leaves with fore-edge professionally strengthened, else the text is clean and bright without any of the usual foxing. The large folding map has been canvas backed, and is in choice state. In all a very attractive example of this rare narrative, particularly scarce in uncut state.
