Faint ghost of partially erased former owner name pencilled to the front free endpaper. Binding a little tender at several gathering and a short tear to the preliminary note leaf, impacting no text. Some light occasional spotting. A good copy of Waley's uncommon second book, which was preceded only by a privately printed book of translations, of which circa fifty copies were printed. 140 poems appear here in English translations for the first time, with thirty more newly translated. A sixteen-page introduction precedes poems by various poems, followed by a second nine-page introduction preceding poems by Po Chü-I.. Book. Book Condition: Good. Binding: Hardcover
