Inscribed and signed by both at the bottom of the photo " To Dorothy de Maria with happiest memories, Ethel Bartlett and Rae Robertson". Ethel Bartlett (1896-1978) and Rae Robertson (1893-1956) were a duet team of piano players from England who traveled the world playing a piano duet for 30 years. They both taught at the Matthay School of Music in England and arranged and published two-piano music.
