Bloch, Oscar : Om Dode - en almenfattelig fremstilling - 2 Volumes (complete set)

Det Nordiske Forlag, Ernst Bojesen, Kopenhavn, 1903

Two volumes - complete set. In Danish throughout. Oscar Bloch was chief surgeon at the Frederikse Hospital in Copenhagen. This two volume attempt at 'understanding' the nature of death is a classic of its kind. In general good, very sound condition. Half leather, marbled board. Both volumes are very sound and handsome. The leather corners and spines have character and are hale. They have some wear from handling and storage. The marbled board covers are smart. Inside, the frontis and end pages of both volumes are marbled and are very clean and fresh. Even taking their age into account the pages are very clean, clear, comfortable, assured, dignified and tight to the bindings. fk. Book Condition: Good. Binding: Hardcover. Jacket: No Jacket
