This two volume attempt at 'understanding' the nature of death is a classic of its kind. In general good, very sound condition. Half leather, marbled board. Both volumes are very sound and handsome. The leather corners and spines have character and are hale. They have some wear from handling and storage. The marbled board covers are smart. Inside, the frontis and end pages of both volumes are marbled and are very clean and fresh.
