Buck Rogers Official Punch-O-Bag with original illustrated envelope. Bag has apparatus disintegrated in envelope. No date, circa 1935. Envelope measures 3" x 4 5/8." Envelope is unopened but has some chipping at the edges on the front, which is the illustrated side, and the upper-right corner on the back. Very clean and intact in consideration of the item's age. The envelope includes an illustration of a boy playing with the Punch-O-Bag. The Punch-O-Bag depicted in the illustration shows the face of Killer Kane, the main villain in the Buck Rogers comic strip. While Killer Kane is the character shown, the Buck Rogers Official Punch-O-Bags came with different characters printed on the balloon, so he may or may not be printed on this balloon. Four step-by-step illustrations underneath show how to assemble and use the toy. The following text is included at the top: "Buck Rogers Official Punch-O-Bag. With Zap! Zap! Sound Effect!" The following are some of the instructions: "Strike out horizontally at bag, bouncing it off closed fist. Great proficiency can be obtained so that two bags can be punched, using both fists, at the same time. Punch-O-Bag can be inflated and deflated over and over again.". Ephemera.
