Complete. Eight small dances composed by Jules Burgmein (the nickname of Giulio Ricordi, who also published these through his family publishing business). Wonderfully illustrated by the Italian illustrator Alfredo Montalti. Libretto - in French - by Paul Solanges. All eight dances are collected together in this rebound (at some stage) volume. Quarter cloth. The corners and edges are much worn and the face of the covers are much marked from storage conditions. The spine, although elderly and untidy, is supple and healthy. Inside the music scores are individual and are in neat, tidy condition. There is some foxing. They are all firmly attached and have a youthful, gregarious quality.
