These publications were issued to mark the centenary of the publication of The Story of an African Farm and to pay tribute to its author, The Institute for the Study of English in Africa decided to make available to students of South African Literature two little known pieces of writing by her husband, Samuel Cronwright-Schreiner: 'The Nienaber Affair", an interesting excision from his The Life of Olive Schreiner, and the Reinterment on Buffelskop, which seems to be the preliminary draft of an illustrated memorial publication which never appeared.
