Original billhead printed in black ink on light beige paper. Also includes handwriting in black ink. Datelined October 1, 1902 in San Francisco, California. 8 1/2" x 4 1/2." Billhead is very clean and intact overall except for light age toning, a vertical fold line, a few wrinkles, and pencil annotations on back. A Very Good copy. An original billhead from C. A. Crosby of Auburn, California to "Mr. W. A. Crowell for J. Wetherspoon." This billhead was not filled out in its entirety as the client's name and date at top and date of August 24 for a line item are filled in, but the description of said line item was never written. The printed header reads, "To C. A. Crosby, Dr., Empire Livery Stable; Good Teams, Saddle Horses, Fine Carriages and Buggies. All Orders in the Livery Business Promptly Attended To.
