Original billhead printed in black ink on light beige paper. Also includes handwriting in black ink. Datelined October 10, 1898 in Auburn, California. 8 1/2" x 4 3/4." Billhead is very clean and intact overall except for light age toning, a few horizontal and vertical fold lines, slight wrinkling, and slight wear to extremities. A Very Good copy. An original billhead from C. C. Crosby of Auburn, California to "Mr. H. McCann." There are two line items for May 11 and 12 which both include the following descriptions: "To feed of horse [...] To feed over night." The printed header reads, "To C. C. Crosby, Dr., Empire Livery Stable; Good Teams, Saddle Horses, Fine Carriages and Buggies. All Orders in the Livery Business Promptly Attended To. All Bills Payable on the First of Each Month.
