The following is a sampling of topics addressed in this issue: California moving from 21st in the United States to 12th for highest aggregate population gain; exceptional precipitation for January following a dry December; nearing completion of the Orland irrigation project; continuing influx of home-seekers; increase in wheat and barley acreage; planned completion of the Colfax cutoff on the Southern Pacific; a list of bank clearing and building permits by number for San Francisco, LA, Oakland, Sacramento, San Diego, Fresno, Stockton, San Jose, and Pasadena; and a notice of the upcoming 1915 Panama-Pacific International Exposition in San Francisco..
