A subsequent inscription from the recipient of Barjansky's inscription notes that the book was later gifted to a third party who has added her own neat bookplate alongside a brief inked note concerning the gift. 8vo. vii, 223pp. Russet-coloured cloth lettered in gold at the spine and upper board. Frontispiece. A touch of very light wear to the backstrip ends, and just a hint of spotting to the top edge. A very good copy in non-price-clipped dust wrapper, somewhat chipped with half a dozen areas of edge-loss, and some tenderness and chipping to several natural folds. The name 'Frederick Delius' in the blurb on the rear flap has been underlined in ink. Laid-in is a folding six-panel flyer issued to accompany Barjansky's 1952 exhibition 'Miniature Sculpture in Wax' at the Newton Gallery, New York.
