Pages are intact but there is slight age toning and fairly extensive foxing throughout. Printed text is still readable. A Very Good copy. A sermon given at the funeral of Anna Strong (1760-1789). As noted in the title, Anna was the wife of Reverend Nathan Strong (1748-1816) and the daughter of John McCurdy (c. 1724-1785). John immigrated from Ireland and settled in Lyme, Connecticut where he presumably met Anna's mother, Anne (Lord) McCurdy (1729-1802), who was born in Lyme. Nathan was a clergyman who became the founder of the Connecticut Missionary Society and publisher of the Connecticut Evangelical Magazine. Henry Channing is noted in this pamphlet as being the pastor of the First Church in New-London (Country), Connecticut.. Book. Book Condition: Very Good. Binding: Soft cover
