32mo - over 4" - 5" tall. Charming unique collection of antique diaries, report cards and a post card picture of Fred Chesbro. The semi-quarterly reports date back to 1897 (first grade) from "Fairport Union School". The next year the name was changed to Fairport High School. They are cardboard pieces approximately 5" by 3" in size. The grade reports are for Fred Chesebro and signed by his teacher each year and also his mother or father, Paris Chesebro. There are 10 cards which represent each year until 10th grade. There is also an "assignment" card for Fred's completion of 8th grade. The post card photo I find most interesting. I think it may have been a class photo? There is one female in the photo (teacher?) and the rest are young men, looking about the same age. One the back it's handwritten that the photo was taken in July 23, 1908. Fred Chesbro is in the photo. The names of each person in the photo is also written, but I can't make out many of the names. There are also 5 "Excelsior Diary" for Fred as an adult. I noted that he changed the spelling of his last name as an adult to Chesbro. The diaries are for the years 1915, 1916, 1917, 1918 and 1920. Most of the pages are full of writing with an entry almost each day for the whole year. Super collection of family history.. Manuscript. Book Condition: Good+. Binding: Leatherette
