History of the military company known as the Mobile Cadets that provide a wealth of historical, military, and genealogical material. Half of the book revolves around the Cadets participation in the Civil War,including detailed descriptions of their numerous engagements on the field of battle. The Mobile Cadets were also prepapred to go to Cuba during the Spanish-American War, served with General Pershing along the Mexican border, and participate d in World War I.
