Creswicke's eighth volume, which looks at the future of South Africa, is not included. Covers somewhat rubbed, with flaking of spine ends and corners; backstrip of seventh volume missing (simple duct tape repair); scattered light foxing; occasional archival tape reinforcing to gutters. Jack of Edinburgh, by The Caxton Publishing Co. of London, and by The Publishers Syndicate of Toronto (pp. 80, 139), the pagination of which corresponds with this Blackwood edition.
