There are some pages with some creases/ wrinkles which I suspect were part of the actual production process,as they occur to same top edge and corner in several signatures - they are not what I'd call intentional "dog-ear" reading creases - where a reader turns over a corner as a marker.Usual wear+tear and shelf-wear from passage of time,i.e slight,light rubbing to corners,slight bumping with reciprocal creases to both head+foot of spine/ backstrip,and two bumps/indentations to top edges (as if someone had tied string around the boards and tightened it?). Top+fore-edges both aged and browned - as usual/normal - lightly affecting page edges,fore-edge has a small splash mark to it.Publisher's original dark green cloth boards with no fading to spine/backstrip or boards,a couple of marks to rear board but overall,generally clean; bright,non-oxidised,crisp,stamped gilt letters to spine/backstrip.UK,8vo HB,1st edn,v-viipp+ 9-355pp includes half-title+title pages, author's note,contents list,and 23 chapters.
