Original souvenir booklet of tipped-in color illustrations resembling postcards. Cards are printed front and back and are non-detachable. Cards are attached to one another accordion style with the last one being tipped in to the booklet. The entire booklet can be sent like a postcard with a stamp box and lines for a mailing address on front. Unfilled greeting message printed on inside of flap. Booklet is unused and was never mailed. Booklet measures 6" x 4 1/4." Each card measures 3 1/2" x 5 3/4." Cards are very clean and intact except for slight age toning. Booklet is very clean and intact except for a few small bumps and slight wear at the edges. A Fine copy. A souvenir booklet containing cards with beautiful color illustrations of night scenes from the 1937 Greater Texas and Pan-American Exposition. A brief promotional description of the expo is printed on inside of booklet. The subjects are denoted by a title in the top margin of each card. The following subjects are included: "Parry Avenue Entrance," "Reflection Basin, Night View," "Agricultural and Foods Buildings, Night View," "Night Scene, Pan-American Exhibit Building," "Reflection Basin, Patio de Honor, by Night," "Night Scene, Travel and Transport Building," "Night View, Patio de Honor," "Night Scene, Pan-American Casino," "Esplanada de las Americas," "Night Scene, Administration Building," "Fountain in Lagoon, Fine Arts Museum in Background," "Texas Hall of State by Night," "The Lagoon and Fountain at Night," "Aztec Sacrifice, Cavalcade of the Americas," "Night View of Fountain and Statuary, Reflection Basin," "Night Scene, La Rambla, (The Midway)," "Finale, Cavalcade of the Americas," and "United States Government Building, Night View." The Greater Texas and Pan-American Exposition was held at Fair Park in Dallas, Texas. The expo promoted Dallas as a place of cultural and economic significance for a Pan-American region roughly encompassing Tierra del Fuego to Alaska.
