this is the popular edition, being the 7th impression of the 2nd edition.the original green boards with gold gilt are a little shelf rubbed but are bright and attractive and very well preserved. the end papers and the verso of the boards are a little darkened. the front hinge has been carefully repaired and the binding is strong. the book is a touch 'cocked' which should straighten in time. the book has no inscriptions and is very clean internally.
