Text in English and Hebrew. A very good copy of an uncommon item. David Gilboa was born in Romania in 1910. He studied at Bucharest's Academy of Fine Art and emigrated to Israel in 1933 becoming one of the founders of the Artist's Quarter, Safed. In additional to painting the landscape and people of Israel he provided illustrations for an edition of Stevenson's 'Treasure Island'. He died in 1976.. Book. Book Condition: Very Good.
