Three (heavy) volumes (complete). Volume 1 : Agriculture and Related Services (799 pages) ; Volume 2 : Agronomy and Agriculture (880 pages); Volume 3 : Stock Farming and Pastures (777 pages). In general robust and sturdy. Volume One has an article from 'Farming in South Africa' (1955) about 'Iodometer Dip Tester' pinned to the frontispiece. Volume Three has been subjected to damp and the papertrims are marked, the pages are wrinkled about the bottom runs. The covers are strong and muscular and earthy. They have general wear to the shelving edges. Aside from that mentioned for Volume Three all the contents are clean, clear, confident, diligent, decided. The pages are firm, assured, tidy.
