Circa 1900, sized 6 x 9.5 inches, on heavy gloss paper, generally very clean and bright. The author, b. Westfield, Chautauqua County, New York, September 8, 1836, was reared in the state of his birth. He was given good educational advantages in his youth, for, besides being an attendant of the common schools for a number of years during his early youth, he was given an academic education at Westfield, where his record was an honorable one. In the summer of 1861 he graduated from the Albany University, and in August, he went to Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, and began to practice law which he would do for some 33 years. He was also superintendent of city schools at Beaver Dam for a period of twenty years. He died April 30, 1893. 0. Print. Book Condition: VG. Binding: No Binding
