Engraved frontis., vignette title and 38 plates by Hablot K. Browne, all very badly foxed. Apart from these faults a sound copy. Early edition points are as follows. No page listed for frontis. and no quotes on "The Party" on plate listing page, Page 27 "fidgetty" at line 11 with "if" omitted from line 9 on p. 426 and Cuttle's left arm a hook on title page and plate on p239, "delight" instead of "joy" on page 284 5th line from bottom. ain't has no apostrophe on page 14 on the 10th line up from the bottom, shew and shewed on page 40 instead of show, no full stop at end of last line on page 582.
