This classic gay novel, the first to openly to portray male homosexuality in Britain, is in generally fair condition. The black cloth cover has marking and some wear from use and shelving. The front cover is slightly warped from storage. The back cover is stained and marked. The spine has a small tear to the cloth at the bottom right hand side. There are shelving pull wear marks to the head and foot of the spine. Inside, there is are splits along the the inside front and back covers through to the binding thread that has loosened the front and back covers. Pages have some handling marks.
