A very early appearance by Geoffrey Hill, appearing here two years after the publication of his slim Fantasy Press debut, but some five years before his first full-length collection 'For the Unfallen' (1959). Other contributors to this issue include Adrienne Cecile Rich, Robert Bly, Elizabeth Jennings and Anthony Thwaite. The second issue of this short-lived Fantasy Press quarterly periodical, which ran for a total of just six issues between 1952-54 (Geoffrey Hill co-edited the final issue, alongside Jonathan Price).
