299 pages (complete) plus index. A generous, inconsiderately stored book. Thick, tough and at times handsome. It has, however, been subjected to some damp storage and the bottom corners of the book have been wrinkled and a little stained. This, however, does not intrude on the body and text. The cloth cover is worn about all edges and corners. The faces are also a little worn and are scuffed and lightly marked. The spine is much worn. It has been repaired with a leather patch to the head of the spine. Inside, other than the damp consequences mentioned above, the pages are aged, mild, genial, sure, thick and clear.
