Quarto. Original red cloth, gilt. Gilt decoration to spine and upper board with fleur de lys tooled in blind to upper. Lovely colour frontis with tissue guard + 45 plates all with tissue guards. Extremities bumped and rubbed with slight fraying to head of spine. Spine and top margin of upper board sunned with some water staining to boards, extending to front and rear pastedowns. Bookplate to front pastedown. Water staining to outer margins of illustration opposite pp.182 also slightly affecting pp.183/184. Occasional foxing o/w contents crisp and clean. A nice copy.
